Seriously, I'm working fast and furiously to complete my list, comprised of:
1. Getting my heart in the right spirit to celebrate the birth of Christ
2. Organizing my things to do
3. Gifts to purchase, wrap, or make and get ready
Are any of you in that same spot?
For me, it's often the small gifts that get me into a bit of a conundrum, so this year I came up with one more list, but this one's helped me a ton to get things together. It's a list of my favorite gifts from the kitchen and there's something sure to please everyone. The list also includes recipes that are not only lovely to give as gifts but will be perfect for my own holiday entertaining which truly does dot the i's and cross the t's for me; I can make a double batch, give half away and have plenty left quick holiday appetizers and sweet treats during the busy weeks ahead.
Peppermint Bark Shortbread is a brand new creation at The Café! I've served it twice now to guests; warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of Chocolate Velvet Sauce. I didn't catch anyone licking the plates but they were mighty clean when I carried them out to the kitchen!
Go ahead and take a peek (I should say a "click"). There's 11 great gift/entertaining ideas. You'll see what I mean and you'll be sure to find something fun and delicious that just might dot one of those i's or cross one of those t's on your list too!
P.S. Don't forget the Tis the Season Holiday Blog Tour. Be sure to stop by Poppy View today for all sorts of fun holiday inspiration.

These treats look pretty and quite scrumptious! Chocolate and peppermint were meant to be together (in this case, to be served together... hehe!)

When I spotted your tart pans I remembered that I've had a set stashed deep in the back of my hoarders bin! Shame on me. Guess I was waiting on this gorgeous shortbread for a chance to use them. Baking is at the top of my to-do list now that the tree is up and decorated. Where did the time go!!!!

Chris I remember most of these treats and they're all beautiful. I'd really like to make those crackers. I know my family would gobble them up. I need to make those soon before I forget. Great post!
