I've been making these simple but delicious blondies for years now, always to rave reviews, but today I decided to have some fun with them..........

But before I get started telling about this delicious sweet treat I wanted to remind you to enter the FREE GIVEAWAY DRAWING - a year's supply of fabulous Maldon Sea Salt! You have until Friday - but don't miss out!
Back to the blondies - I had a pack of the miniature Snickers Fun Bars and thought they would be a yummy addition to my blondies. I made the them as usual and then coarsely chopped the Snicker and scattered them over the top. They came out of the oven smelling and looking quite amazing. I tested them out on my co-workers and they loved them - I think you will too!
P.S. This is the recipe you'll want to turn to when you need a delicious treat or dessert in a hurry! It's a one-bowl, no-mixer recipe you can whip up in a few minutes. Another 20-25 minutes in the oven and you'll be "smellin' pretty" and "good to go"! 🙂

Snicker Bar Blondies
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
⅔ cup butter
2 cups packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
4 - 6 ounces Snickers bars, coarsely chopped (I used the 4.62 ounce Fun Pack - which is 8 small bars - the regular size Snickers candy bars are 2.07 ounces so 2 or 3 would be perfect, depending on how Snickery 🙂 you want your blondies )
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).
2. Melt the butter in a large microwave safe bowl. Add brown sugar and mix well. (I like to use a whisk for mixing these.) Cool slightly.
3. Add eggs (beaten) and vanilla. Blend well with a whisk or wooden spoon. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and mix well again using a whisk or wooden spoon - no mixer neccesary!.
4. Spread in 9" x 13" x 2" pan. Scatter chopped Snickers and chocolate chips on top. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

Have been looking thru your website (recently discovered it) & I definitely would love to make these bars this weekend. Just wondering - do you grease your pan or use parchment paper on it? Thanks a lot! and, thanks for all the wonderful looking recipes I've seen & am going to try!
