Although I really enjoy baking (my friends and co-workers will attest to this as they are so often my “guinea pigs”), I also love preparing and coming up with recipes using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. For me, it’s a fun challenge to keep our meals healthy but at the same time delicious. That way when the baking impulse overtakes me, I don’t have to feel quite so terribly guilty.
