How fun are these guys? For several years, I've seen this beautiful style of cutting and roasting onion in numerous places online. I can't believe it's taken me this long to try it. It seemed too simple for such spectacular results, but I gave it a whirl. Thrilled! .......... That was my reaction when I peeked into the oven after 20 minutes ............ WOW!

  7. Pretty blooming onions, Chris! They look much healthier than the battered, deep-fried ones that I see at some restaurants.

  8. Oh, it looks like a huge pink flower, much prettier than the deep fried version. That was the ONE bad thing about those onions, they were just loaded with sat fat!
