The following is a copy of how your post appears in my Blogger: Reading List. However when I try to read the rest of your greeting and info about your trips, etc. it is not on the post or anywhere else on your site that I can find. I am interested in reading all of the intro/greeting in addition to your amazing recipes. Where can I find the rest of this intriguing intro and all others that only partially appear? Part of the fun of following blogs is the insight into the persons posting. I've wanted to ask about this for a very long time, today is the day! Thanks!

Delicious Recipes for a Summer Ice Cream Party!
🇫🇷 Bonjour! 🇫🇷 If you haven't been following The Café recently, Scott and I are currently enjoying 3 weeks in France, studying French cuisine and getting lots of fabulous recipe inspiration. Where are you staying in France? I live in Aveyron (departement 12). Very beautiful region. If you're nearby and like to say 'Hi' you're very welcome to come to see us for tea. We have a lovely garde!

That is SO sweet, Janet. I wish we had more time but we will only be in Lyon and then a week with our family near Chamonix. Maybe next year!

Hello, love your recipes and it's true, they do impress my friends. One small problem is I live in France and many of your ingredients are not available here but I try to substitue. However can't find a substitute for corn syrup. Can you suggest one please?
Chris Scheuer says
Hi Janet, I am so sorry that the ingredients are not available to you in France. I try to include ingredients in my recipes that are fairly easily accessible but sometimes I fail when it comes to other countries. Regarding the corn syrup, I usually only use that to prevent crystallization. You can substitute a squeeze of fresh lemon juice instead of corn syrup to achieve the same results.
