Love the scones but mine spread out and don’t keep their round shapes. Am following the recipe exactly.
Love all your recipes.
Chris Scheuer says
Hi Barb, try adding 2 extra tablespoons of flour. Butter can have different water contents and that can make a difference.

Debbie says
Thanks for the Bible verse. Back in 1972 I was assaulted and the Lord gave me this verse to hang onto, and it has been my go to verse ever since. Of course, I love the whole psalm, especially "Be still, and know that I am God."
Thank you to you and your husband for your testimonies. I know that because I accepted Christ back in 1965 that He has been my stringth through many trials in my life!
Chris Scheuer says
Thank you for sharing your story, Debbie! I love hearing that Christ is your strength.💕

I would like to make several different types of scones to take on a family vacation. At what point is it best to freeze them. Form the scone then freeze or bake then freeze? I assume I bake from frozen. Thank you
Chris Scheuer says
For delicious, fresh scones, it's best to freeze them and then bake them right before serving. Have a wonderful vacation, Ellen!
