  1. I am an avid follower.. I have told many of your wonderful recipes!! I especially like your salads and salad dressings..,especially the pumpkin 🎃...

  2. Love your cake recipes. As someone who has to be careful with the amounts of cholesterol, I certainly appreciate oil in lieu of butter and I also use substitute eggs. They all work brilliantly. I do have lots of cookbooks and prefer reading them more than the barrage of news we're bombarded with on an hourly basis. Thank you! Cheers

  3. Hi Chris,

Happy New Year! I have been a follower of your blog for several years and have turned many people your way. I love your recipes!! Sadly, I’m of the old school of cooking. I still love cookbooks. Having a whole compilation of recipes in one book seems to make it easier for me. I enjoy pouring a cup of tea or coffee and perusing a good cookbook. I know of many people just like me. I find it easier to find my favorite recipes.

Thanks Chris for listening. Your follower from Seattle,Washington.

    Barbara

    1. Hi Barbara, thanks for your comment. I understand about enjoying cookbooks. There is something wonderful about looking through a good cookbook. My husband says that I read them like "normal people" read novels!
I have had several offers to write a cookbook but I've felt that the tremendous amount of time it would involve would take me away from my priorities which are my faith, family, friends and, of course, the blog.

  4. Many of these recipes were my faves too. I can't count how many times I've made the sheet pan chicken. It's my go-to dinner when I'm stuck for an idea since I always have the ingredients on hand. Thanks for the pizza sauce...I never thought it would be so easy to make my own! There's no going back to store bought now. Our other favorite this year was the lemon ricotta cake. It is a no fail recipe that brings rave reviews. My daughter requests it often. Thank you so much for your beautiful website. You have definitely expanded my repertoire and taught me some new techniques. Happy New Year to you. Wishing you all the best in 2020!

    1. Thanks so much, Tonya! I really appreciate your kind words and love that you've enjoyed the Café recipes💕

  5. So many wonderful recipes from 2019. Your cakes and muffins are especially calling me to prepare them! Thank you for sharing. Happy 2020!

  6. Thank you for sharing your wonderful website with all of us. Wishing you a new year filled with happiness and health.

  7. Happy New Year Chris! You are always cooking up something fabulous, and it's such fun to see which ones were the most popular!

  8. Just love this website and the recipes. Am also from NZ and find heaps to make even though our seasons are opposite. So many favourites! Thank you ! Adair.

  9. I just recently found your website. I have made those delicious Cranberry Orange Scones and the Orange Cranberry Christmas Marmalade. I also bought those cute spoons. Thank you for the labels. Can't wait to try so many other recipes. You are amazing.

  10. Hi Chris
Have saved your recipe for the Grandmothers Lemon Yogurt cake, plus several others that sound so yummy! However,I live in New Zealand and am wondering how to convert your recipe from US measurements to British?
    Many thanks,Ann

    1. Hi Ann, if you click on the "Metric" button right under "Instructions" in the recipe box, you should be able to convert to British measurement. If there's a recipe that doesn't have that option, just email me and I'll add it. I try to add it to each recipe but sometimes I forget - also, some of the older recipes don't have it as I didn't have that option at the time.
