All of these easy dessert sauce recipes can be made in minutes and stashed in the fridge. Then when it's time to entertain, dessert is just a carton of vanilla ice cream away!
I love having a few magic culinary tricks up my sleeve... little things that make having guests for dinner or dessert just a little bit easier and less stressful. These three dessert sauces are true lifesavers when it comes to entertaining!
If you keep one or more of these easy sauces in the refrigerator and a carton of vanilla ice cream in the freezer you've got dessert "made in the shade"! Just pull out some pretty bowls, warm up the sauce in the microwave or on the stovetop and you'll be the rock star, especially when you see all the happy faces all around the table. If you want to be extra fancy, keep a few of these Easy Candied Pecans or these Maple Molasses Pecans hidden (they won't last if anyone knows where they are!) in the pantry to add a nice sweet crunch... so delicious!
These Maple Molasses Pecans are super delicious and fabulous as a snack or cocktail nibble, on salads, or desserts … and they make a wonderful gift too!
Although it tastes decadently delicious, this Microwave Caramel Sauce is amazingly easy and involves less than 5 minutes of hands-on time!
This silky smooth Apple Cider Caramel Sauce is buttery and bursting with delicious, fresh apple flavor. It's wonderful on ice cream and is also a fabulous way to pizzaz up any fall dessert!
This Ridiculously Easy Hot Fudge Sauce is seriously some of the silliest, smoothest, most delicious chocolate sauce you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting!
Thought for the day:
“Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone—
while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels[a] shouted for joy?
“Who shut up the sea behind doors
when it burst forth from the womb,
when I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness."
Job 39:4-9
