This fresh, beautiful raspberry freezer jam, prepared with fresh or frozen berries takes less than 10 minutes of hands-on time. Use it to make three of the most delicious raspberry jam tarts that will stay permanently on your favorite-desserts list!
I just made a batch of our Easy Raspberry Freezer Jam using some frozen berries I had picked up at the grocery store. Within 30 minutes I had 6 jars of beautiful ruby jewel-toned jam lined up on my kitchen counter.
Although this jam can also be made with fresh berries, I've discovered that the color is even prettier and more vibrant with frozen berries. Who knew?
I plan to give a few jars away (adorned with our free printable labels - see this post to learn how to receive them).
I'll also stash a few jars in the freezer and keep one jar in the fridge to enjoy on toasted brioche bread, scones and biscuits.
You know how one thing leads to another, right? Well, making the jam got me thinking about a few of my favorite desserts from the Café archives. Each one of them is a tart recipe that includes raspberry jam - but each one is deliciously unique.

We'll start with our Raspberry Jam Shortbread Tart. With sweet raspberry jam nestled between melt-in-your-mouth shortbread and a buttery crumble topping, this Raspberry Jam Shortbread Tart is always a winner!
I plan to use some of my raspberry jam stash to make this tart next time we have guests. I love that you can make it ahead and warm it slightly just before serving.
These adorable Scandinavian Raspberry Jam Tarts are stirred up with just one bowl, no mixer is needed. No one will know how easy (Ridiculously Easy) they are as they taste like they came from a fine, fancy European bake shop!
The recipe is super easy although the finished tarts look like a labor of love.
The newest addition to our Raspberry Jam Tart collection is this fabulous Italian Ricotta Crumb Cake. It features a layer of creamy ricotta topped by a ribbon of raspberry jam nestled between a crisp, buttery dough that forms both the bottom crust and the pretty crumb topping.
This is one of those tarts that is a perfect sweet treat for breakfast, brunch, lunch, tea time or dinner!
So if you need a little culinary pickup, make a batch of this fabulous jam and one (or more) of these raspberry jam tarts and wait for the rave to come rolling in!
Thought for the day:
If we live, we live for the Lord;
and if we die, we die for the Lord.
So, whether we live or die,
we belong to the Lord.
