Fall in Michigan means soup weather. Cooler temps will be on us soon, so your post is very timely. I enjoy bread-baking and one-pot meals. Fresh bread and soup...yum. I followed your link to Asheville restaurants and we’ll be in Asheville for our son’s wedding in November, so we’ll be doing the restaurant scene. Can’t wait.

If only the weather would cooperate. As I sit here Sunday morning with nary a breeze and a temperature that threatens to be in the 90's, it's hard to get excited about soup. I sure hope it cools soon though, as your recipes look yummy!

Haha! I know what you mean, Patti! Even here in the NC mountains, we're having much warmer weather than we've had all summer. But I guess that will really make us appreciate those beautiful, cool, fall days that are coming!
