When you need an easy, delicious dessert you can throw together in minutes with minimal effort, these one-bowl Bundt cake recipes will become your BFF!

I used to enjoy spending hours making fancy layer cakes, but honestly, that's just not on my favorites list anymore. Call me lazy... but my excuse is that life just seems to get busier and busier. For Scott and I, a full-time food blog, active family, church and community calendars and 6 grandchildren (with a myriad of activities), all living within 20 minutes, believe me, there's not much time to spare!

So when I need a dessert for a special occasion (or to make an ordinary day seem special), I don't turn to complicated recipes anymore. I look for something that won't require a lot of cleanup or the need for fancy equipment. I also love recipes that will feed a crowd and ones that freeze well for a quick treat on the run. And, of course, it has to be super delicious with a pretty presentation.

I've found that Bundt cakes check all those boxes! They're easy to throw together and the pan does most of the styling. You can serve Bundt cakes plain and unadorned, give them a simple sprinkle of powdered sugar, brush them with a syrupy glaze, or drizzle them with a delicious icing.

A beautiful and easy way to add an extra special touch is to place a tiny vase of flowers in the center opening as you can see with my Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake.

Most Bundt cakes are seasonless but there are some flavors that we particularly like to savor in autumn. Today, we're sharing three Fall-inspired cakes that you're going to fall in love with! These delicious, one-bowl Bundt cakes will carry you through the late Fall and Thanksgiving season - be sure to PIN this post so you will have it at your fingertips!

Oh, and they all freeze well! I love to slice the cakes, wrap each piece in plastic wrap and then pop them in the freezer. After an hour or two (when they're frozen solid), I throw all the pieces into a ziplock bag. Then, when I  need a dessert and don't have time to bake... voila! A delicious treat is at my finger tips, just waiting to be thawed!

One last thing... if you've ever had trouble icing a Bundt cake without it looking like a gloppy mess (speaking from personal experience), we have a tutorial post on How to Ice a Bundt Cake - an Easy and Beautiful Technique!

There's a picture tutorial plus a video to demonstrate how easy this technique is. I'm including the video (below) but the post linked above does include extra tips to ensure success.

Thought for the day:

For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
He will lead them to springs of living water.
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
