How do you make your store-bought pie crust for custard pies? Do you fill the crust with beans before baking as some have suggested?
Thanks, Kathy
Chris Scheuer says
Hi Kathy, yes, I would suggest blind baking with beans, pie weights or metal chain for a custard pie.

It would be wonderful if you would do a cookbook. Your need,or the person trying to or recipe, simple, elegant is wonderful; but for me it's your attention to detail and your desire that every cook is successful. To do this you make instructions and details clear and easy to understand and follow.
Hope you will think about a hard cover cookbook.
Blessings to you both. You are truly appreciated.

Thank you, Mary Anne 🥰 I really appreciate your very kind encouragement. I have thought about a cookbook and have had a few offers but, at this point in time, I feel like it would interfere with my priorities which are, my faith, family and community which includes the blog.
