Stocking up on groceries right now? These delicious recipes feature long-lasting fresh produce so you can limit your trips to the store but still eat well!

Like most of you, we're trying to limit our grocery store runs right now. For us, this means stocking up on produce that can last a while in the fridge. Things like carrots, cabbage, kale, and citrus fruits all stay fresh for a long time in the fridge. Potatoes, onions, and garlic last for weeks in the pantry. These are some of our favorite recipes using these hearty fruits and vegetables. Hopefully, this inspires you to cook with what you have and keep these long-lasting produce items in mind when you shop.

  1. Thank you so much for this information, Chris. It is so hard to know what to buy when you do go out and grocery shop. We live in a rural area in the Midwest, so we can still get out a little, but probably won’t be lasting long. I am like you, love to grocery shop! Wish I would have bought a few more things at Trader Joe’s last time I was there. Anyway, thanks again, and stay safe!
