Good morning,
I’ve been following you for a while now and there is so much that I love about your work. This morning I made you Ridiculously Easy Buttermilk biscuits-they are fabulous and so simple. Love it!
I would love to ask you about your kitchen - I hope that’s not too personal. My husband and I are in the middle of building an addition to our home that includes my dream kitchen . There are so many decisions to be made! Since you do a lot of cooking and baking, I’d love to know what countertop material you have found to be especially user friendly and holds up well for all things cooking. I tried to look past the food pics, but can’t tell what is countertop, what is table top, or even a serving board.
Thanks for any wisdom you can share. Blessings.
Krista

Thanks for your kind words. It makes me happy that you've enjoyed our recipes.
Lucky you to be designing your dream kitchen!
Regarding my countertops, I had granite at my previous home and now I have Quartz. I really have enjoyed both of them and they have both held up really well with a crazy cook in the kitchen every day. I love the colors and patterns that are available in Quartz. My dream would be to have marble but it's not practical unless you just want a "show kitchen" and won't be cooking in it 😂
One thing that has been wonderful in my new kitchen is having two dishwashers. I know it sounds a little indulgent but it has been worth every penny. It's fabulous for everyday cooking and even better when entertaining.
Hope that helps, Krista. If yu have any other questions, feel free to write.
