Thought for the day:
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
Psalm 139:7-10

I want to make your cracker recipes, but I'm allergic to rosemary. Which herb would you substitute for good flavor?
Thanks! Love your recipes and your inspirational scriptures!
Chris Scheuer says
Hi Patty, you can either leave out the rosemary - they will still be delicious! - or sub some thyme.
Patty says
Thanks for the fast reply. Can't wait to make the crackers!!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving,
Patty

Hi Chris...
I find myself combing your recipes for low-sugar desserts. There are millions of diabetics in this country, and my husband happens to be one of them. Am always looking for low-carb recipes to satisfy his sweet tooth. Something to think about for another posting?
Thank you for what you do. We live almost exclusively off your website.
Chris Scheuer says
Hi Sue, thanks for your encouraging words.
Regarding low sugar desserts, that is, honestly, not my forte. I understand your situation though as I have family members who are diabetic. I think this is a really great website for diabetic recipes: https://hangrywoman.com

Hi Sharon! You're so correct about food for the soul being necessary as much as for the body! Thanks for taking the time to share a comment 🥰
Sharon Whitesell says
I love your scripture inspiration for today. Food for the soul, every bit as important as nourishment for the body. We need both!
Thanks for always sharing such do-able recipes. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving, as different as it may be!
