Thought for the  day:

And she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.

  1. Hi Chris,
Just made this and it is amazing!!!
    Thanks for the great recipe.
Gave some to a friend and she asked…
Do you have to refrigerate it because of the fresh garlic?
How long is it good for?
    Thanks again.

  2. I'm very excited to try some of these recipes and to give them as gifts throughout the year. I don't want to be greedy but is it too late to get the printable labels for the copycat Rosemary Pecan Raincoast Crackers? For five years I was a red-jacket Cheese Monger with a Murray's Cheese shop and used these all the time. They're delicious but terribly expensive to buy and I'd rather make them myself.
If it's not too much to ask, I'd also love the labels for the Blood Orange Marmalade, the Lemon-Glazed French Sable Cookies, the Tuscan-herbed Sea Salt, your Lemon Curd and the Best-Ever Granola. Maybe also the Ridiculously Easy Slow-Cooked Apple Butter. I want to try and then share all these recipes!

    1. Hi Catherine, we're happy to send the labels but, because we send out so many labels, we ask that you request each set of labels on that particular post. That's the way we stay organized!

  3. Hi,
Would you please send me the labels for the Tuscan Herbed Sea Salt. I can't wait to make this as Christmas gifts for my family.
    Thanks so much!
    Mary Ellen Stahl

    1. Hi Deb, we're happy to send the labels but if you could request the ones you want on the individual posts that would help us a lot as that's how we stay organized. Thanks!

  5. I would love to make this salt for gifts and myself. Please send labels. I have made the Caramel Sauce as gifts in the pretty little jars and it is delicious. Thank you for this wonderful cooking website. Christmas Blessings.
