  1. You have one of my favorite cooking blogs, and a few others! Thanks for putting everything you do in to brings recipes that are great, tasty and very well written!

  2. Thank you for such delicious recipes. I now have my “cafe notebook” with all the recipes I’ve tried and liked. When looking for something to cook, this is my first resource. I’m not a sweet fan (prefer savory) but have tried some of the sweet treats cutting sugar by half and had great success. Looking forward to 2021 and more deliciousness!!!

  3. I want to thank you so much for your recipes. My husband has never liked scones....until I tried your recipe! He asked that I make them more often! The tips, comments and photos are wonderful. I’ve made many of your recipes and will continue in the New Year! Thank you for all of your hard work getting these recipes to a point where they are so easy for me to make! I’m a big fan!

    1. Thank you for this kind and encouraging comment, Darlene. I know how your husband felt. Scones are so often dry and uninteresting. So happy he enjoys them now! 💕

  4. Thank you for a year full of wonderful recipes (it was definitely a bright-spot in an unfortunate year)! Due to a recently diagnosed medical condition I can't have gluten anymore. I am totally at sea and sad that it will eliminate most of your recipes but maybe the gluten-free flour will work in them? I have no idea but I'll give it a try.

    1. Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, Barb. I do hear from lots of readers though who sub GF flours for the all-purpose with good results. I think it will take a bit of experimenting but soon you'll be an expert!

  5. I'm not a sweet eater, so this list is not exactly for me, but sure love the Cafesucrefarine recipes that are savory . . . I will make Marry me Chicken this week for sure. Preparing my grocery list now. Love this blog, but looking forward to more savory and less sweets!

  6. Not on this list, however I made your wreath cookies. I really appreciate your in depth instructions. I followed them exactly, including the fondant bows. They are simply exquisite. Thank you so much!

  7. HI Chris,
Thank you so much for sharing all of your recipes, I know that when I make one of your recipes it will always turn out great because of the time and effort you take in making sure that it is perfect before it hits the blog. I've made most of these recipes , except for the raisin bread, that is next on my todo list.
Wishing you and your family a Happy New Year, filled with Health and Happiness.

  8. Dear Chris,
I just discovered your blog this year, and am so glad I did. I’m about to eat one of the maple pecan scones (so delicious!) and just pinned several of these recipes. I haven’t made a yeasted bread in years, but the no knead cinnamon brioche definitely called my name...as did the banana scones, the shortbread, etc! Thank you so much! And Happy New Year too!

  9. Hello Chris
Many of these recipes I made and were all scrumptious. Just this past Christmas Eve your beautiful pomegranate and clementine salad was the most festive side dish for our Christmas Eve dinner. I shaped the clementines into flowers and added additional pomegranate seeds to the centers of each one. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie recipe. The recipe collection is delicious and perfect thank you for taking the time to create tasty easy recipes and to share them as well as your blog!!!!
    Happy New Year
    Danielle
