to us a son is given,

And he will be called

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I always thought I wasn't a baker, until I found your website and recipes! Your descriptions of how to sift ingredients and how to measure brown sugar helped immensely. During pandemic times I mastered the chocolate chip cookie, YOUR "best chocolate chip cookie" is the one, and for that I am forever grateful. I took a shot at the chocolate chip candy cane cookies this morning. I noticed that you do not recommend refrigeration of the dough before baking. I have totally bought into the philosophy, and I'm wondering why not do so for this recipe? The cookies are fantastic, but would they be even BETTER if the dough was refrigerated? Thanks!

Aww, thanks so much for your kind and encouraging email, Sonja! I'm so happy that you've been successful with baking. It's wonderful thing to be able to share homemade gifts from the kitchen with others.
Regarding the cookies, I honestly haven't tried refrigerating this dough before baking so I can't say if they'd be even better. It would be worth trying though. Thanks again and hope you have a very lovely holiday 💕

I love all your cookie ideas, the only problem is deciding which one to make first and how do I keep my husband from eating them all before Christmas. I have to find a good hiding place LOL. Thank you for sharing these lovely recipes
