  1. Hi Chris,
Just found your site and have been enjoying all the recipes and great tips!
Do you by any chance have a recipe for freezer Pear Jam?

    Thank you!

    1. Hi Sarah! Welcome to The Café!
I don't have a recipe for pear freezer jam but it sounds intriguing, I will look into it!

  2. Hi Chris,
I look forward to trying several of these. Do I need to buy jars with the sealing lids (Mason and Kerr) and can I use left over jelly jars? I'm thinking since I would be freezing them, that the simple Jelly jars would work? Your thoughts?

I would appreciate the label pdfs as well.

Thanks again for sharing such great recipes!

    1. Hi Carol, you're welcome! đź’•đź’•
Regarding the jars, that's the beauty of freezer jam - you don't have to worry about any special jars or lids. You can use any type of jar or container. Some people even use ziplock bags if they don't have a lot of extra freezer space and then transfer the jam to jars as they use it.
Let me know which labels you'd like and I'll send them to you.

  3. I’ve never made freezer jam, but it looks and sounds so easy, I’m going to have to give it a try, especially with all the gorgeous strawberries I’m seeing at the Farmer’s Market! Thanks for the recipes!

  6. Chris, what a coincidence! My overnight raspberry jam was just finished up this morning! Almost a disaster because the pectin I had wasnt liquid....quick trip by hubby to the store saved the day! ( and on Fathers Day...what a guy!) The jam is ruby red, sweet, and ready for friends and family! Thanks for a great recipe!
