This easy Lemon Curd Poppy Seed Cake recipe includes a tender-crumbed, super moist white cake with a delicious lemon curd filling and icing. Make the ridiculously easy lemon curd in minutes!

I made this cake a couple of weeks ago and it was delicious. The slight crunch that comes from the poppy seed is met with the creamy and bright/freshness of the lemon curd filling and scrumptious frosting (which also has lemon curd in). Since I had leftover curd and couldn't get enough, I served it with raspberries the next morning and yogurt and granola the following day! This cake is a bite of brightness that I may consider making today; although, your recent posting of the chocolate cake is tempting. Thank you for continually sharing such good-tasting and approachable recipes for a novice cook like me.

Making homemade lemon curd can be a complicated process. Not this Microwave Lemon Curd! It's silky smooth, bursting with bright lemon flavor and color and comes together in minutes!

Easy and amazing! I started by making the curd which was simple and delicious, then I made the lemon poppyseed cake and still had enough left to make the tart. Both were great but the tart was next-level great app tasted like it came from a French pastry shop!

Melt in your mouth delicious and so easy, these Banana Bread Scones with a fabulous brown butter icing are super moist and tender inside and have a wonderful sweet-crunchy exterior.

This recipe came at the PERFECT time as I had just 1 extremely ripe banana I was trying to figure out what to do with. I made them yesterday and just love them!

Thanks for the recipe! Tried it a few weeks back for a party and it was a hit!

These easy, one-bowl, no-mixer are similar to Starbucks Blueberry Muffins. They're moist, delicious, loaded with juicy blueberries and they rise up high, with beautiful domed tops!

I made the muffins this morning, using wild blueberries as you suggested. I followed all your instructions and they turned out wonderfully well. Before I knew what was happening I had eaten two of them. I could not help myself❣️

These Peanut Butter and Jelly Blondies will be a hit with kids of all ages! And you can mix them up in less than 10 minutes, with just one bowl and no mixer!

Omg these are to die for! My husband loves peanut butter, we loved these so much! I cut them in triangles, the swirls are so pretty too! Will definitely make again, pretty easy!

Make these delicious, easy cinnamon rolls at night (20 minutes) and wake your family to a heavenly aroma no one will be able to resist!

Hi Chris: I made these cinnamon buns and they were fabulous! I subbed in ½ cup oatbran for ½ cup flour to bump up the fiber and they were wonderful! I love your site and have had success with every recipe I have tried! Thanks from the west coast of Canada.

Super moist and delicious, these easy One Bowl Buttermilk Bran Muffins roll out of the oven with rounded, bakery-style, tops!

These are definitely the best bran muffins I've ever made. Not dense or leaden like the usual bran muffins.

These delicious Spring Shortbread Cookies are crisp, sweet and buttery. And there's a simple decorating technique that's fun to do with kids!

I have made these numerous times and they are always spot on! Sometimes I glaze them, but most of the time I just enjoy them plain, with a cup of tea. I love that these are so easy and quick and that there are so many different ways to personalize them!

These tall, flaky, Ridiculously Easy Buttermilk Biscuits take less than 10 minutes to throw together. They're also ridiculously delicious!

Amazing easy biscuits to make. Did an experiment with 3 different recipes (including my grandma's recipe) this was perfect, amazing best one of the 3. and I am not a baker. You will impress yourself!!!

Toffee Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies, the name says it all. Well, pretty much all, they're also one-bowl, no-mixer, super-easy and outrageously delicious!

These have a wonderful texture & flavor. Adding the salt & toffee chips puts them over the top! I made a batch of these and scooped the dough onto the cookie sheets & froze them until firm then put them in freezer bags. That way I always have a homemade treat for the Grands - or for Nana & Papa! 😉 I also used your tip for softening the butter & it worked like a charm. Thanks for another great recipe.

Finally!! I found the perfect and East Naan recipe!! I don't have to buy the frozen ones from Trader Joe's anymore!! I think it is even better than my favorite Indian joint down the street!! Thanks so much for posting!! Happy in Seattle!!

  2. Your recipes are easy, delicious and elegant. Thanks for the tips and tricks.
I have made several recipes but the manicotti is a favorite!

  3. Thank you for you continued care of your blog, and keeping the outpouring of recipes, and ideas. I must say, as we all stay home, social distancing, the drive to do things in your house is almost zero... there is just a feeling of helplessness in our house... Your blog inspires and encourages me... and even though I have read your blog faithfully over the past few years.. and I have seen most of these recipes before, it is terrific to be reminded of them again, and now that we have nothing but time... gives me the drive to make some things!!! Thank you so much for your hard work.
